The long-awaited day is finally here.

Today, we are announcing the top five finalists in each of the nine categories for our first-ever Vimeo Awards. The filmmakers who created these works are an outstanding example of the progression of creativity in films and videos online and our Judges have now determined the finalists. The juried winners will be announced at the Vimeo Awards Show on October 9th, so wish everyone luck!

BUT, we also want you, the Community, to be able to vote for your favorites in each category as well.

From now until Saturday, October 9th at 6pm EST, you can vote for your favorites to help determine the Community Choice Awards. 

For a site that focuses on community as intensely as Vimeo does, the Community Choice Awards are an important way for everyone to give their feedback and help choose their favs. So please make sure to cast your vote and give your support and feedback to the Finalists.
